Portraits: Earl

Earl is a residential school survivor from Big River, Saskatchewan, Canada. He is homeless, and now lives in the Don Valley in downtown Toronto. Earl  says that his parents drank themselves to death, and he has recently quit alcohol because of recurring violent blackouts. Of the Cree First Nation, Earl often feels discriminated against because of his ethnicity.
