“To be quite honest, if we didn’t have each other, I don't think many of us would have survived. We used each other to council each other, just sitting around talking about things, how we felt…the anger… just spending time together and talking about it and reflecting on a lot of those things helped us heal within ourselves.
Northern Territory stolen generation people did suffer… but it was also the family, the parents. Sometimes I reflect on my mother. She was just a lost soul in the end because her family was split up.”
